NOTE:  I have been hired by the family of a passed (away) resident of our town.  This is HISTORY!  I hope we learn from this so we are not doomed to repeat it!

This book is from the personal library of Bruno Magliocco, who was the son of Vincenzo Magliocco - a General under Mussolini in the 30's.

1938 - So Wurde Gross Deutschland (How great Germany came to be) with the title embossed in gold beneath a large eagle and swastika on the front linen cover.  Book measures 10.5" x 7 3/4".  Binding is tight throughout.  There are brown spots on the back and front cover of this book.  Composed of four Hoffmann photo books, depicting Adolf Hitler, in all his glory, returning territory to the Reich that had been lost in WWI.  The four books contained in this one are:  Hitler Holt Die Saar Heim (Hitler returning the Saarland to Germany), Hitler in Seiner Heimat (Hitler in his Homeland), Hitler Baut Grossdeutschland (Hitler creates greater Germany), and Hitler Befreit Sudetenland (Hitler Liberates the Sudetenland).  There is evidence of prior ownership in the form of a sticker in the front cover (see pic).  I am sure that can be removed but I will leave that to the lucky winner!

1937 - - Achse Berlin - Rom - Two volumes contained within this book - Hitler in Italien and Mussolini erlebt Deutschland.  The title is embossed in gold in between a swastika and large eagle on the front linen cover.  Book measures 10.5" x 7 3/4".  Binding is fairly tight throughout.  There are brown spots on the back and front cover of this book.  There is evidence of prior ownership in the form of a sticker in the front cover (see pic).  I am sure that can be removed but I will leave that to the lucky winner!
